This drill requires an aerial ladder and an engine to simulate an initial defensive fire attack with exposure protection. The aerial can simulate attacking the fire while the engine crew establishes a water supply with a reverse lead-out. The engine will then pull a line and simulate exposure protection or to provide hand-line back-up to the initial attack. Set up simulated collapse zones around the structure so that effective stream reach and position can be practiced.
