2009 KME Preditor , 1250 GPM Watrous/ 2750 Gals, 6 Man Cab. , Portable Pond [ 3000 gals] , standard handtools, Hurst Cutters and spreaders/ 1600 ft of 4 inch Supply line. 500 Ft 2 1/2 inch Hose/ 700 Ft of 1 3/4 hose .

The Johnson County (MO) Fire Protection District protects 525 sq. miles with 10 stations. Each station has an engine, tanker, and brush truck. Some stations house additional specialized equipment (rescue, air truck, reserve apparatus).

Our 10 tankers are all mounted on a International 4400 chassis, with a Midwest Fire PT1 tank body. Each tanker holds 2000 gallons of water and has two 10" Newton Quick-Dump (driver side and rear). Each is equipped with a 2100 gallon folding tank, a mounted portable pump, two 1.5" pre-connects, two 10' 2.5" hard suctions, and fill hoses and miscellaneous hand tools/equipment.

We have six 2002 models, three 2006 models, and one 2009 model. The picture is one of our 2002 tankers operating at a barn fire in 2006. This fire was located 2 miles (each way) from the nearest hydrant. Three tankers maintained a fire flow of more than 500 gpm for about 90 minutes.

Our District 26 Sq. Miles , 1/4 of the district has no hydrants, we cover the NYS Thurway [ 3 miles] there are no Hydrants.
