Question:about injury on the fireground or other places on duty

I want to know that when you got injury on the fireground or other places on duty, do you fill out the reporter to the fire department in order to estimate the number and the type of injury, and how to prevent it. Is there any kind of form to fill out? Please tell me some information about that. Thank you for your help.

You should always report work related injuries to your supervisor and complete the appropriate form to document the incident. Check your company risk managment policy. Additionally, injuries that occur in the course and scope of performing your duties, whether you are volunteer or paid....is a worker's compensation claim. Your company should also have the worker's compensation forms. The employer can use the worker's comp injury report form as the injury report form even if it is only an incident and is not filed as a compensible claim. It is important to recognize that the worker's comp laws for each state are different, so it is improtant to know the comp laws for your state. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, just send me an e-mail.
