Where firefighters come to talk training

Does anyone have any experience with through the lock training? I would like to have something that is portable, easy to reuse, and somewhat cheap. Any ideas would help. Thanks

Have any of you guys ever heard of KnoxBox? There is no etter way to get into a locked building or residential occupancy. Besides, all of the fire codes authorize them and FEMA even pays for them under the FP&S grant program.
Thanks Bobby, much appreciated.

Hey check out vententersearch.com and look up what FF Royal from CSFD has put together out of station 8 as far as a prop.http://www.vententersearch.com/?p=396
Also become friends with your local locksmiths. They will sometimes have a box of throw aways. I try to hit up some of the big chain guys too, they sometimes have "extras" that they'll give ya, this goes for doors too. Last guy I talked to said that most returned doors, just go in the dumpster.
Thanks guys, great ideas.
Also check out this site ironsandladders.com . Our department received a great hands on training for these guys on force entry. they had a great prop for conventional and thru the lock hands on. We have duplicated the prop and have it at our house for training. We will soon be duplicating the thru the lock prop as well..

Chad, I whooped up a Through-The-Lock PowerPoint a couple of months ago. If you are looking for something like that just let me know and I can send it your way.
