What would you consider a reasonable hourly rate for an Skills Instructor for basic firefighter I and II type Skills Sessions?
I am looking for an HOURLY rate so shoot me a number if you have an opinion.

Here is my email toddcmckee@hazmatohio.com.. I can go over pay scales there with you if you would like. I work at a University and three academies. Thank you

Hey Louis,

What do you feel is an acceptable rate to teach at a lower level without being insulted? I think most would say 20 an hour or more for good quality instructors who are just teaching basic skills. Compare that to what might be offered at a University or other program like the NFA for the higher level of quality instructors. Also have to consider locality differences and possible travel or other expenditures that might be encountered.

Be interested in hearing your findings.
