Comment byChuck Fager2009年11月6日在10:22pm: Got this from the Brothers at Brotherhood Instructors LLC- Certain franchise chains like Radio Shack and Starbucks have taken to standardizing the exit hardware on their rear doors. Take note! The Panic hardware locks into both sides of the door buck (frame)

Comment byChuck Fageron November 6, 2009 at 10:11pm: 工具不是门挡! !门chocks are door chocks!! Carry both and you will always have a tool (or two) when you need it (them) and a chock once you're in! It's hard to breach a wall or take a window from the inside with a chock!

I don't see how anyone can gain a full understanding of "every" aspect of this job without knowing building construction and fire behavior. Know the structures you are getting into and how they are built!!!! How is fire likely to travel in these buildings? Then you can make the building behave, make effective fireground decisions, get yourself out of trouble, and accomplish the tasks at hand.
