Started as a Volunteer in 1986 with the St Matthews Fire District, then joined McMahan Fire & Rescue, rising to the rank of Captain.

Upon completion of active duty enlistment, was hired as a career firefighter by the Muskegon Fire Department. I am the driver for Engine 23, covering the downtown district as well as second due for the rest of the City. Our crew also operates Rescue 73, our fire/rescue boat, covering Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.
I also worked for the Muskegon County HAZMAT Team as a Specialist from 1999-2004.
When I'm not on-duty, I'm spending time with my three daughters.
