The Training Division just finished it's 1st annual countywide benchmark competition, based on NFPA's 1410 drills, evolution # 1. Expanded the Officer Development Program for rookie Lieutenants to a 4 week program with 2 weeks of added H.O.T. drills, which included 3 Live Burns.

Professional Qualifications:: Fire Instructor 1, Live Fire Instructor, Paramedic, Aircraft Rescue FireFighter, Rescue Scuba Diver.

Areas of expertise:: Firefighter Survival, Calling the Mayday, Thermal Imaging Camera, Fireground Operations, Ground Ladders, Search & Rescue, R.I.T., Hi-Rise Ops

Bio:: 19 year veteran with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Current rank of Captain, assigned to the Operations Training Division as one of the department's 3 Training Captains.
