Bio:
I am a lieutenant in the Lancaster City (PA) Bureau of Fire, assigned to Engine Company 3, and a 19-year veteran of the fire service. I serve as a Pennsylvania State Fire Academy adjunct instructor and deliver local-level fire programs for several community colleges in my region. I am a member of the PA South Central Task Force, serving as a deputy operations section chief on the incident management team, and hold national certifications as a fire officer, fire instructor, incident safety officer, and rescue technician. I'm a firm believer in "the basics matter most" concept. Simply stated...know your rig, know your equipment, know your job, and pass on everything you have learned to others.
