Bio:: I started in public safety during high school as a volunteer with my local police department. During college I became an EMT as a volunteer with a local fire department. Soon after I attended paramedic school and began working as a paid firefighter. Since then I have served as a police officer, fixed wing flight paramedic, EMS instructor, Critical Care ground paramedic, fire company officer, Assistant Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, and Fire Chief. I served as the Fire Chief for the Village of Stone Park for 4 years before taking the position of Fire Chief with the City of Pontiac, Illinois in late 2007.
