I'm in the process of revamping our training
program and they are coming in real handy
My problem is Ive got a gap between my young and older firefighters.
I understand that the older guys have families and other things to do,
but so do I. As a training officer I have to put in at least double of what
they do but they don't see that. We currently only require 12 hours of training a year and I've got some guys with no hours and it's August. I try to make things fun and try new things and I do the old routine things toobut can't seem to get them here. Any suggestions would be very helpful......
I'm in the same battion as Harding and should see him next day. If I see May I'll try to remember to pass it on.
