I work full-time as a state (Iowa) certified peace officer (rank of Sergeant). My role on the fire department is that of a company officer with the rank of Captain. I hold multiple certifications and instructor ratings. I enjoy taking time to instruct both law enforcement and fire related topics. In my spare time, I am a founding member of my local homebrewing club and enjoy brewing beer.
